Blue moon has risen upon you
The day you left and went away...
I can pretend there is no me and you
But I can't purge my tears amain...
Distinctive lies I told myself to reconcile
That you don't care about me anymore...
Infinite value you destroyed - my pride
And left just aching heart, oh, till the core...
But still I hope one sunny day
That we will see each other's eyes
And read the truth beneath their shine
That hearts of our still feel likewise...

Probably my favorite poem I've ever wrote, even though it's quite melancholic. The last one in my Blue Forest (blog) series. From that time I didn't write any more poems and got back to songwriting.
